The holiday season is right around the corner, and you know what that means—it’s time to make spirits bright! At Echelon Chicago, we’re excited to invite you to join Morguard’s annual North Pole Express, a four-week donation drive with a heartfelt mission.
This isn’t your average holiday event—it’s a chance to bring joy to foster children across the country by supporting Comfort Cases, a fantastic nonprofit dedicated to helping kids in the foster care system feel seen, loved, and valued.
What’s the North Pole Express? 🎅
Picture a sleigh full of gifts, but instead of toys, it’s filled with essentials and little luxuries for children in need. North Pole Express is Morguard’s nationwide, holiday-themed drive where each of our properties—including Echelon Chicago—teams up to collect donations over four weeks.
We’re turning our lobby into a merry drop-off spot, ready to be packed with thoughtful donations that will make a huge difference.
Who Are We Supporting? 💙
This year, we’re partnering with Comfort Cases, a nonprofit that provides foster children with “comfort cases”—backpacks filled with items like books, cozy pajamas, hygiene products, and other essentials.
Comfort Cases was founded on the heartbreaking reality that many children enter foster care with their belongings in trash bags. These comfort cases are a way to give them a sense of dignity, comfort, and hope, and show them that they are valued.
How Can You Help? 🎁
Donating is easy—and we’d love your help! From now until the end of the drive, bring any of the following items to our lobby collection box:
- New pajamas (all sizes welcome)
- Diaper wipes (wipes in packs of 10-48)
- Books (because everyone deserves a good bedtime story)
- Small blankets & stuffed animals (perfect for snuggling)
- Bibs and washcloths (perfect for keeping little ones clean)
Whether you bring one item or a whole bagful, every donation counts!
For more information, swing by the leasing center or give one of our team members a call, they’d love to answer any donation questions! One important thing to note – all items must be new and unused.
